Summertime in Britain is beautiful.  Long bike rides and lots of cake make it just perfect.  So much so that I was fully inspired to start drawing again.  And this was the result.  It's of a greyhound with a bowtie.  I saw a fawn coloured one letting the wind blow through his ears whilst he craned his slim neck out of the car window.  What a lovely thing to be as free as the wind and as charming as a greyhound.

Cats in Hats

I've just had a really good order from a gallery shop in Lincolnshire which means I have to get cracking and make some new stock.  I'm inspired by all things illustrated at the moment and so have started on a new range of designs based around cats.  I'm a cat convert.

So here is a drawing from my Cat in Hats range.  Jewellery to follow!

Make Workshop

Spent a gorgeous day in Northumberland with my brother and his family.  It was great.  Had a chance encounter with a lovely lady, who owns Make, which can only be best described as a place where people come to Make Things.

Her ground-level shop is filled with gorgeous items, bits and bobs for exciting your own creativity.  Upstairs is a little workshop heaven where she creates and help people create through her workshops.

One of those gems of a person who gets that it's not only necessary to create, but to help pass on dying crafts.
